The Jindal Global Law School (JGLS) has launched an LLM (master of laws) degree in corporate & financial law in partnership with ed-tech major UpGrad. JGLS says it is a first-of-its-kind programme and is tailor-made for corporate lawyers who want to specialise.
C Raj Kumar, founding vice chancellor, O P Jindal Global University & Founding Dean, Jindal Global Law School, says, “This programme will foster teaching and research to provide a thorough knowledge of corporate and financial law to meet the challenges of the global economy.”
UpGrad has been known for courses in the areas of technology, data and management. This is the first law course on offer.
The programme will be for one year with students receiving the LLM degree from O P Jindal Global University upon successful completion of the academic credits. The format of instruction and evaluation for this LLM will be entirely online with 24/7 access to online recorded lectures.
