JEE-Mains to be held from July 18-23, JEE-Advanced in August, HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ announced on Tuesday while interacting with students live on social media. The minister also announced fresh date for NEET exam. It will be held on July 26. Nishank had earlier announced that the JEE Main and NEET exams will be held in May end. However, with the nationwide lockdown in the wake of Coronavirus pandemic being extended to May 17, the exams were postponed.
According to the sources, Responding to a question from a student, Union Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal said that the academic session will start late this year due to the Coronavirus pandemic. The minister said central, state boards have been asked to reduce syllabus for the upcoming session.
